Who Needs an LTA / PDVL Medical Check Up?
The Private Hire Car Driver Vocational Licence (PDVL) medical check up is required by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) for taxi and private-hire car drivers in Singapore.
New PDVL Application

01Should I make an appointment for PDVL / LTA medical check up?
You can walk in for a LTA/PDVL medical check up without an appointment, though waiting times may vary depending on the crowd. Typically, the wait is around 10 minutes. We have slots available during our operating hours: 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM on weekdays and 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM on Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays and Public Holidays. To check the status of your LTA / PDVL medical check up report or to request a soft copy, please contact us via WhatsApp at 8673 7999 , from the collection date and time indicated on your receipt.
03How long does it take to get LTA / PDVL medical check up results?
LTA / PDVL medical reports will be ready by 4 PM the next working day. Same-day reports are available if you visit before 9 AM on weekdays, subject to an additional fee. Please refer to your receipt for the exact collection date. For added convenience, you can also receive your LTA / PDVL medical report via Email or WhatsApp .
04Can someone else collect my LTA / PDVL medical report on my behalf?
You may come personally or ask someone to collect your report on your behalf. They simply need to produce at least a soft copy version of your ID and receipt.
